Emmanwori, Kennard and Sellers Named Finalists for the 2024 Blanchard-Rogers Trophy
Three University of South Carolina football players are among the nine outstanding finalists for the 2024 Blanchard-Rogers Trophy, presented by Ellison Kibler Merrill Lynch and announced by the South Carolina Football Hall of Fame (SCFHOF).
Widely regarded as “South Carolina’s Heisman,” this prestigious award recognizes the most exceptional college football player with ties to the Palmetto State.
The winner will be honored during the 12th Annual Enshrinement Ceremony on April 17, 2025, at the Hotel Hartness in Greenville, S.C..
The 2024 Blanchard-Rogers Trophy celebrates excellence both on and off the field, honoring players who were born, raised, or played high school or college football in South Carolina.

LaNorris Sellers
2024 Stats: 64.9 completion pct., 2,274 passing yards, 17 passing TDs, 655 rushing yards, 7 rushing TDs, 152.9 efficiency rating.
This year’s finalists embody the rich football heritage of South Carolina, continuing the legacy of the award’s namesakes, Felix “Doc” Blanchard and George Rogers, both Heisman Trophy winners.
