Back under the lights to open conference play

Carolina will be back under the lights to open conference play this weekend when they host Vanderbilt with kickoff set for 7:55 p.m. on SEC Network. We look forward to welcoming families of current University of South Carolina students to town for family weekend!

Check out some of the things that will be happening around Saturday’s game.

Stadium Tours

Since it’s Family Weekend, we will have tours of Williams-Brice Stadium on both Friday and Sunday this week! The tour route, which is subject to change, includes the Cockaboose Club, Meredith Family 2001 Club, Locker room, Hall of Captains, Champions Club and Pressbox. The tour is expected to last between 1 and 1.5 hours.

Gamecock Village presented by Farm Bureau Insurance

Gamecock Village presented by Farm Bureau Insurance will open at 3:10 p.m. and close at 7:15 p.m. In addition to the live music, a screen with games around the country, food trucks, drinks for purchase and inflatables, check out some of the additional things we have planned for this weekend:

  • South Carolina Boating and Fishing Alliance Boat Show: Back for it’s fifth year, SCBFA will once again be on hand to showcase South Carolina-made boats and fishing tackle in Gamecock Village.
  • My First Gamecock Game: If it’s your first Gamecock game, be sure to stop by the marketing table inside Gamecock Village to commemorate the occasion.

Limited-edition YETIs

We sold out of Game 1’s YETIs within 48 hours, so make sure you’re ready for this week’s limited-edition drop! We’ll announce the design on Wednesday and make them available for purchase in the Forever Garnet App. To ensure you receive the announcement when it’s first released, be sure to enable push notifications for the app. If you are a Gamecock Club member and are logging into the Forever Garnet App for the first time, an account has already been created for you. Just click the log in button and then click reset password and utilize the email tied to your Gamecock Club account.

There will be a purchase limit of 4 tumblers per person and you MUST pick up your tumbler inside the gates of Williams-Brice Stadium on game day. You will not be able to bring these tumblers back into the stadium at future games.

Gamecock Walk

The team will arrive around 5:45 p.m. and head into the stadium lead by Cocky, the drumline and our spirit teams. Get a spot early along the Tommy Suggs Garnet Way to cheer the Gamecocks on as they head into the stadium.

After Gamecock Walk, head over to the Gamecock Park Amphitheater for the Pregame Pep Rally featuring the Mighty Sound of the Southeast and our spirit teams, which begins around 6:05 p.m.
