Nyck Harbor Named to 2025 SEC Football Community Service Team
Junior wide receiver Nyck Harbor is South Carolina’s representative on the Southeastern Conference’s 2025 Football Community Service Team, the conference office announced today.
In addition to being a two-sport star (football and track), Harbor is deeply involved in philanthropic activities, both around Columbia and in his hometown of the DMV. While in Columbia, he has visited and shared his journey with elementary school students, the Boys & Girls Club and at the Prisma Health Children’s Hospital. In addition, he has assisted with the Beamer Foundation Backpack Drive, Pigskin Poets, Midlands Orphan Relief, and the Academy Sports holiday giveback event. For the last year he has served as a big brother/mentor for a young man from Greenville, S.C. Last summer he hosted his first annual Community Day at Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, D.C. The free event culminated with him donating $10,000 to the school.
The SEC names a Community Service Team for each of its 22-league sponsored sports, looking to highlight an athlete from each school who give back to his community through superior service efforts.
