South Carolina Concludes Day Three of SEC Championships

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The South Carolina swimming and diving team completed day three of the 2026 SEC Championships on Wednesday inside Allen Jones Aquatic Center.

DAY THREE

  • Jordan Agliano picked up a fourth-place finish in the 200 butterfly with a personal-best time of 1:53.80.
  • Einar Agustsson also recorded a new personal best, finishing sixth in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 51.69.
  • The third day kicked off with the preliminary heats of the 100 backstroke, 200 butterfly and 100 breaststroke.
  • 11 Gamecocks advanced to the nighttime finals session, including Jordan Agliano (200 butterfly) and Einar Agustsson (100 breaststroke), who will swim in the A-Final.
  • Dylan Scholes will swim in the consolation of the 100 back. Amy Riordan, Merlin Ficher and Ryan Hufford will swim in the bonus final.
  • In the 200 butterfly, Breckin Gormley and Taylor Grimley advanced to the consolation final while Tori Abruzzo and Gage Hulbert qualified for the bonus final.
  • Harvey Freeman will represent South Carolina in the 100 breaststroke bonus final.
  • Charley Bayer finished 20th in the 3-meter dive, scoring 308.15.
