COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina women’s swimming & diving team secured the No. 16 spot in the final CSCAA Top 25 poll for the 2025-26 season, as announced in the March edition of the rankings.
The Gamecocks consistently held a place in the top 25 throughout all six months of polling. They began the season ranked No. 17 in October before jumping to No. 15 in November’s poll after ranked wins over Georgia (157-141) and UNC (176-124). Both victories were the program’s first over the two opponents since 1985.
Thanks to a dominant performance at the Gamecock Invitational, the Gamecocks sat No. 17 in the nation in the final poll of 2025. After defeating Queens (156-104) and Virginia Tech (196-98), South Carolina remained in the top 20 at No. 19. The Gamecocks ranked No. 18 after finishing the regular season 7-0 for the first time in 40 years.
A sixth-place finish at the SEC Championship propelled the Gamecocks into the No. 16 spot in the final poll of the 2025-26 season.
South Carolina kicks off postseason competition with a trip to Atlanta, Ga., sending eight Gamecocks to the NCAA Championships, hosted by Georgia Tech from March 18-21.
