Fifth-year player… could be a regular in the middle of the defensive line rotation if he is healthy and able to regain his mobility following ankle surgery… gained valuable experience as a reserve defensive tackle from 2018-20, appearing in 34 of the 35 games during that span.

2021 (Senior)
Suffered a lower leg injury in the first scrimmage of the fall… underwent left ankle surgery in August and missed the entire season… redshirted.

2020 (Junior)
Third-year defensive lineman who saw action in nine contests… did not play against Florida… credited with five tackles including a sack… three of his tackles and the sack, the first solo sack of his career, came in the win at Vanderbilt… also had two stops against Missouri.

2019 (Sophomore)
Appeared in all 12 contests… credited with six tackles… had a half tackle for loss, a quarterback hurry and recovered a fumble… credited with two tackles in the win at Georgia… his TFL and hurry came against Kentucky, while his fumble recovery came at Texas A&M… named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll… named the Most Improved Player of the Spring for the defense.

2018 (Freshman)
Saw action in all 13 games… credited with 19 tackles including 2.5 tackles for loss and a half-sack… tallied a half-sack in the Ole Miss win, a huge play in the fourth quarter… logged a season-best seven stops, including a TFL at Clemson… recorded five stops in the Belk Bowl versus Virginia… named to the First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Concord (N.C.) High School in 2018… coached by Glen Padgett… recorded 83 tackles and seven sacks as a senior… named to the NC Preps All-Class and 3A All-State teams… earned first-team All-USA North Carolina football team accolades as selected by USA TODAY as a senior… participated in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas… Rivals ranked him as the second-best defensive tackle in the country, the third-best player in the state and No. 45 nationally… was the sixth-best player in North Carolina, the 14th-best defensive tackle in the country and No. 141 overall by 247Sports composite ranking… ranked No. 136 overall and the 11th-best defensive tackle in the country as part of PrepStar’s Dream Team.
