2019 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll
Candidate to compete for the punting chores in his final season of eligibility following the graduation of school record-holder Joseph Charlton… began his career at Kennesaw State, logging two seasons as the Owls’ starting punter.
2019
Joined the squad in January and went through spring drills… served as the backup punter behind one of the nation’s top punters in Joseph Charlton… also was the backup holder on placements and saw action against Charleston Southern… named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.
2018
Enrolled at Carolina but did not participate in football.
2017
Appeared in all 14 games as the Owls’ punter… averaged 39.3 yards on 24 punts… boomed the second-longest punt in school history when he knocked a 59-yarder against Jacksonville State in the second round of the FCS Playoffs… nine of his punts resulted in a fair catch, with three traveling 50-plus yards and five were downed inside the 20.
2016
Appeared in all 11 games as a true freshman for Kennesaw State… booted 32 punts for 1,306 yards, averaging 40.8 yards… his career-long of 61 yards came versus Presbyterian… downed 10 punts inside the 20… logged 22 kickoffs for 1,308 yards, averaging 59.5 yards with four touchbacks.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Lexington (S.C.) High School… the Wildcats went 30-11 during his three years… coached by Josh Stepp… recognized as the Wildcats’ special teams MVP while handling both placekicking and punting responsibilities during his final two campaigns… named the 2015 4A All-State Specialist of the Year by the South Carolina Coaches Association… was the High School Sports Report 4A Division 2 All-State kicker… also named to the Region 5 4A and The State’s All-Midlands teams and All-Chronicle County by Lexington County Chronicle… named the 2014 4A and Lower State Kicker of the Year and received All-Region honors… hit a field goal with :03 remaining to lift his team to a 38-35 victory over Spartanburg in the state semi-finals.
