Madison Kolessar Bio
PRE-SOUTH CAROLINA
- Competed her undergrad at the University of Florida, and was a member of the swim team for all four years.
- Helped the Gators win the 2024 SEC Championship, finishing 10th overall in the conference in the 1650m freestyle.
- Finished her time at Florida with personal bests in the 500m freestyle (4:48.38) and 400 IM (4:16.16).
- Won the 400m IM (4:28.49) at the 2021 Auburn Invite.
- Finished her 2020-21 season with seven top five finishes including one second and one third place finish.
PRE-COLLEGE
- Qualified for the 2020 Olympic Trials in the 200m butterfly.
- Member of the 2018 NCSA All-Star Team, competing in Dublin, Ireland.
- Named a Scholastic All-American in 2017, 2019 and 2020.
PERSONAL
- Pursuing her masters degree in International Hospitality and Tourism Management.
- Daughter of Jeff (Shippensburg University swimming alum) and Michelle Kolessar (Penn State swimming alum).
- Has a sister, Ashley, who currently swims at UCLA.
