PRIOR TO CAROLINA
- Played two seasons at Virginia Tech, where he made 13 appearances on the mound as a sophomore in 2023
- Struck out 15 batters in 12 innings pitched with a 1-1 record in 2023
- Made six relief appearances for the Hokies in 2022, recording seven strikeouts in four innings pitched
- Was named the No. 10 incoming ACC freshman and the No. 51 freshman overall by Perfect Game in 2022
- Graduated from William Byrd High School in Vinton, Va., where he was a four-year varsity pitcher and infielder
