Adrian Morales Career Stats Former Gamecock infielder Adrian Morales returns to Columbia to serve as student assistant coach for the 2013-14 season. ‘We are ecstatic to welcome back Adrian and to have Tyson here as part of our staff,’ said head coach Chad Holbrook. ‘Adrian was a very special player for us and part of two national championship teams. Not only was he a special player, but a great leader and winner as well. He is going to be a terrific coach.’ Morales played in 136 games with 127 starts in a two-year career with the Garnet & Black and was a member of the 2010 and 2011 national championship teams. Morales returns to Columbia after playing for the Kansas City Royals organization for the past two and a half seasons.
