CAREER
Tight end and special teams performer…  appeared in 38 games over three seasons with 17 receptions for 203 yards and two touchdowns.

2019
Senior who suffered a small fracture in his neck during fall camp, which was to have sidelined him for 4-6 weeks… however, during an MRI, the doctors discovered a cyst on his spinal cord, which apparently has been there since he was a child… the severity of the situation and the possible long-term consequences from that medical condition forced him to retire as a player…  helped as a student-assistant coach for the remainder of the season… served as a team captain in the opener vs. North Carolina… earned the Jim Carlen Special Teams Player of the Spring Award… also garnered the Harold White GPA Award for Special Teams, awarded at the 2019 Garnet & Black Spring Game… graduated in December.

2018    
Junior tight end who made his presence felt more as the season progressed… played in all 13 games, making three starts… one of three players selected by his peers for the Unselfish Teammate Award for special teams… named the Tenacity Award winner and the Leadership Award winner for special teams, as selected by the players… led the tight ends with 15 receptions for 181 yards and two touchdowns… scored his first career touchdown, an eight-yard grab, in the season-opening win over Coastal Carolina… made his first career start in the Missouri win, and responded with two catches for 14 yards… best performance came at Clemson, with two receptions for a career-best 94 yards, including a 67-yard touchdown grab… named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.

2017    
Sophomore tight end who was a special teams performer and also saw limited time at tight end… played in all 13 games… caught his only pass of the year, a four-yard completion, against Tennessee… named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.

2016    
Played in 12 games… caught one pass for 18 yards… saw his first action against Mississippi State… made a key block on A.J. Turner’s game-opening 80-yard kick return vs. East Carolina… logged his first catch against Georgia, an 18-yard reception… named to the 2016-17 First-Year SEC Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL    
Named to the all-state team and was the 6A Offensive Player of the Year after helping lead Colquitt County to a 15-0 record and the Georgia state championship… graduated in 2016… logged 76 catches for 1,163 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior… the Packers won two straight state titles and were ranked No. 2 in the USA Today poll in 2015… coached by Rush Propst… Rivals ranks him as the No. 23 player in the state of Georgia, the 15th-best “athlete” in the country and No. 249 overall… 247Sports considers him No. 86 in Georgia… ESPN also ranks him the 84th-best player in the state and the 148th-best wide receiver in the country.
