Speedy running back who looks to showcase his skills on the gridiron now that he is injury-free… did not participate in spring drills while he was working as a sprinter on the Gamecocks’ track & field squad… competed in the 60-meters indoor, and the 100-meters and 4×1 relay during the outdoor season.

Enrolled in January… missed the spring and much of the fall while recovering from knee surgery from an injury he sustained in high school… redshirted as a true freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Melbourne (Fla.) Central Catholic High School… graduated in December 2017… the Hustlers, under the direction of head coach Stacy Sizemore, posted an 8-4 record in 2017… missed much of his senior season after undergoing knee surgery, but ran for 884 yards (9.6 yards per carry) and accounted for 14 total touchdowns in 2016… won the Florida 4A 100-meter title with a time of 10.61 in the spring of 2017… also captured the region title and was third at the state meet in the 100 as a junior… his PR was 10.44… ranked as the No. 18 all-purpose back prospect and the 95th-best player from the state of Florida in 247’s national composite rankings… Rivals ranked him as the 85th-best player in Florida and the 26th-best running back in the nation… named to the PrepStar All-Southeast Region team.
