2012: Redshirt junior signal-caller who saw action in two contests… Saw late action against UAB… rushed once for 11 yards and threw an incompletion on his only pass attempt… also got in to the Wofford game late… earned a spot on the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll… saw limited playing time in his Carolina career, appearing in five contests… completed 3-of-5 career passes for 33 yards and a touchdown.
2011: Reserve quarterback who played in the Kentucky game… completed both of his passes for 23 yards, including a seven-yard touchdown pass to D.L. Moore.
2010: Saw action at quarterback in two games… took first career snaps vs. Southern Miss and threw an interception on his only pass attempt… played late in the game against Arkansas and completed his only pass attempt for 10 yards… was a member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll.
2009: Redshirted as a true freshman quarterback.

PERSONAL: Andrew K. Clifford grew up a Florida fan as his dad, Tom, played fullback and tight end for the Gators from 1973-75… two of his uncles played at Clemson and two played at The Citadel… two of his uncles are high school coaches — Mark Clifford at Beaufort (S.C.) and John Clifford at P.K. Yonge in Gainesville, Fla., a program that sent several players to Coach Spurrier[apos]s Florida teams… is a sport and entertainment management major.
