2023 Alpha Rising Award Most Improved Player
2023 Jim Ritcher Award – Most Valuable Offensive Lineman
Offensive tackle who joined the Gamecocks in January 2026 after spending four seasons at NC State… has appeared in 38 games including 32 as a starter, 14 at left tackle and 18 at right tackle… has accumulated over 2,200 offensive snaps over the past three seasons.
2025 (Redshirt Junior)
Started all 13 games for the Wolfpack at left tackle… earned honorable mention all-conference honors… was the ACC’s second-highest ranked pass blocker at left tackle… tops on the team with 50 pancake blocks and 18 knockdowns… earned ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors with what was evaluated internally as a 100 percent blocking grade against rival North Carolina… credited with one knockdown and nine pancakes in that game.
2024 (Redshirt Sophomore)
Played in all 13 contests… started all 12 games during the regular season at right tackle… slid over to start at left tackle in the bowl game… ranked second on the squad with 54 pancake blocks… tied as the top grader on the line in five games: WCU, Northern Illinois, Wake Forest, Syracuse and UNC.
2023 (Redshirt Freshman)
Young offensive lineman who played in 12 of 13 games for NC State… started at right tackle in the final six games… five of those six contests were Wolfpack wins… made 32 pancake blocks in the last five games of the season… tallied eight pancakes in the win at Wake… also saw limited action at tight end… earned the team’s Alpha Rising Award for Most Improved Player, he also earned the Jim Ritcher Award for most valuable offensive lineman.
2022 (Freshman)
Enrolled at NC State in June… did not see game action… redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played both offensive guard and tackle at Valdosta High School for coach Shelton Felton… team finished 4-6 in his senior season… the Wildcats turned in an 8-4 record and advanced to the Georgia 6A state semifinals in his junior campaign… also played basketball where he averaged nearly six points and four rebounds per game… threw the shot and discus and finished second and seventh in the state, respectively.
PERSONAL
Jacarrius Peak is a sport management major… Appeared on the Netflix show “Titletown” while in high school.
