Third-year player who needs a good spring to show that he is capable of contributing during the 2014 campaign… listed as a spur, but could also serve as a safety.

2013: Moved to the spur position at the beginning of fall camp after playing strong safety earlier in his career… saw limited action, appearing in four games (Missouri, Mississippi State, Florida and Coastal Carolina), all on special teams… did not record any statistics… a member of the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.

2012: Redshirted as a true freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL: A versatile performer who led his region with a school-record seven interceptions in 2011 at Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Ga… also logged 49 tackles and 11 pass break ups as the Jaguars went 9-2 in 2011… earned AAAAA all-state honors as a senior… named to the AJC All-Area team… coached by Ron Gartrell… racked up 43 tackles and three interceptions during his junior season while playing for Parkview High in Lilburn, Ga… was a three-star prospect, the 38th-best safety and the 47th-best player in the state by Rivals.com… rated a three-star prospect and the nation[apos]s 48th-best safety by Scout.com… a three-star recruit, the 72nd-best safety and 74th-best player in the state according to ESPN.com… a three-star recruit, the 44th-best safety and the 50th-best player in Georgia by 247Sports.com… high school teammate of Carolina signee Mike Davis and current Gamecock Kadetrix Marcus… had numerous offers and narrowed his choices to Vanderbilt, Louisville and LSU along with the Gamecocks.
