Junior fullback who will sit out the spring while rehabbing a knee injury suffered last fall… hopes to be back at full strength in the fall.
2011: Played in six games primarily on special teams… recorded one tackle… did not have any offensive statistics… suffered a season-ending knee injury in the win at Mississippi State.
2010: Enrolled in January 2010 after originally signing in the spring of 2009… delayed enrollment to rehab a knee injury suffered during high school… played in all 14 games on special teams… regular member of the kickoff return unit.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played on both sides of the ball for head coach Mike Owens at Fort Walton Beach (Fla.) High, graduating in 2009… suffered a season-ending knee injury in the second game of his senior season… junior season was limited to the last five games due to illness… still finished with 55 tackles and an interception, while rushing 74 times for 364 yards and four TDs… logged 120 tackles and three sacks with two fumble recoveries as a sophomore… considered the 19th-best ‘athlete’ in the country, the 57th-best player in Florida and a four-star recruit by Rivals.com… considered a three-star prospect and the nation[apos]s 38th-best strongside linebacker according to Scout.com… named to PrepStar[apos]s All-Southeast Region squad… had offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, NC State and Maryland.
