Junior tight end who will not participate in spring drills after injuring his knee just prior to the bowl game.
2010: Began fall camp continuing to rehab from right shoulder surgery… saw action in each of the first 13 games as a solid contributor on special teams… also saw limited action as a reserve tight end… made two catches for 19 yards… had a 10-yard reception vs. Arkansas… hauled in a nine-yard pass in the SEC Championship Game vs. Auburn… also credited with one tackle vs. Southern Miss… injured his knee prior to the bowl game and did not suit up for that contest.
2009: Redshirt freshman who was a regular on special teams… played in 12 games… did not record any statistics.
2008: Redshirted as a true freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from The Bolles School in Jacksonville, Fla. in 2008… caught five touchdowns during his senior season helping lead the Bulldogs to second round of state playoffs… ranked as the #2 tight end in the state of Florida by FlaVarsity.com… considered a two-star recruit… was the 61st-best tight end in the country, according to Scout.com… chose South Carolina over offers from Georgia Tech, Illinois, Memphis, Arkansas State and Florida Atlantic.
