2025 Overcoming Adversity Award

A five-year player who spent the last two in Columbia after logging three seasons at Alabama… appeared in 30 collegiate games with 11 starts… collected 46 tackles with 5.0 tackles for loss.

2025 (Redshirt Senior)
Put together a solid final season of college football… shared the Overcoming Adversity Award, as selected by the coaches, with Buddy Mack III… played in all 12 games starting 11 in the middle of the defensive line… collected 31 tackles with 4.0 tackles for loss… added four QB hurries, one pass breakup and forced a pair of fumbles… bookended the season with a season-high five tackles in the opener against Virginia Tech and in the season finale against Clemson… in the only game that he came off the bench, totaled three tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss, a hurry and a pair of forced fumbles at LSU.

2024 (Redshirt Junior)
Joined the Carolina program in January after three seasons in Tuscaloosa with the Alabama Crimson Tide… appeared in all 13 games as a reserve interior defensive tackle in his first season in Columbia… credited with 15 tackles including 10 solo stops and 1.0 tackle for loss… also had a pair of quarterback hurries… had a season-best three tackles and a TFL against Wofford… had two stops each against Old Dominion and Missouri.

2023 (Redshirt Sophomore)
A depth piece on the Tide’s veteran defensive front… saw game time in two contests… appeared against both Middle Tennessee and Mississippi State.

2022 (Redshirt Freshman)
Provided depth on the defensive line, playing in one game… only action came in the Iron Bowl against Auburn.

2021 (Freshman)
Worked in two games along the Tide front… saw his first minutes against Southern Miss… also appeared against New Mexico State… redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Rock Creek Christian Academy in Upper Marlboro, Md., where he was coached by Andre Kates… racked up 48 tackles and four sacks in five games as a senior… totaled 68 tackles, including seven sacks, and added 16 quarterback hurries to go with three forced fumbles as a junior in 2019… PrepStar’s top-rated recruit from Maryland and the No. 26 player on the magazine’s Top 150 Dream Team… the top-rated player from Maryland and the No. 35 prospect nationally according to Rivals… rated as the No. 7 strongside defensive end the No. 89 player overall on the 247Composite… ranked No. 174 on the ESPN300 and the No. 21 recruit from the East Region by ESPN.com.
