2010: Saw action in 12 games, primarily on special teams… collected five tackles including a career-high four stops in win over Troy… named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.

2009: Sophomore who played both strong safety and Spur for the Gamecocks… played in all 13 games, making three starts… recorded 14 tackles including 11 solo stops… credited with a pair of pass breakups and two quarterback hurries… made his first career start in the season opener at NC State… credited with a pair of tackles… also got the starting nod against Georgia and versus Ole Miss… logged a season-high three stops against the Rebels and matched that with three tackles versus Florida.

HIGH SCHOOL: Made 80 tackles and had two interceptions during his senior season at Carver High School in Winston-Salem, N.C…. received a three-star rating by Rivals.com… considered the 44th-best outside linebacker in the country and the 27th-best player in the state of North Carolina by Rivals.com… regarded as the 26th-best player in the state of North Carolina by SuperPrep… was a three-star prospect and the nation[apos]s 70th-best safety according to Scout.com… ran track in the spring and focused on the 100 and 200 meter dashes… originally committed to Tennessee and considered North Carolina and NC State before casting his lot with the Gamecocks.
