Dalton Wilson Bio
Junior fullback who is listed as the probable starter entering the fall despite missing the entire spring after undergoing left shoulder surgery… could also play some tight end in a package similar to how Patrick DiMarco was used in 2010… smart, tough player who works hard and understands the offense… also has been a special teams contributor… one of three recipients of the Harold White GPA Award at the 2011 Garnet & Black Spring Game.
2010: Played in all 14 games, primarily on special teams… saw limited action at fullback but did not record any offensive statistics… credited with five tackles… also had a pair of kickoff returns against Furman for 23 yards with a long of 12… named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.
2009: Walk-on who was listed as the backup fullback but only saw action on special teams… was moved from linebacker to fullback during the spring… named the Outstanding Walk-On for the offense during the spring… earned his first varsity letter.
2008: Redshirted as a true freshman linebacker… joined the team in August.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Williston-Elko High School in 2008… played for coach Dwayne Garrick.
