John Guerry Bio
Senior linebacker who joined the team as a walk-on in the spring of 2006… tough, physical player who works hard on the scout team.
2008: Reserve linebacker who worked with the scout team.
2007: Saw action on special teams against Louisiana-Lafayette, his only collegiate action… selected along with Bryan Kingrey and Ranzino Valentine as an Outstanding Walk-on following the 2007 spring drills.
2006: Worked on the scout team as a squadman.
2005: Enrolled at South Carolina, but did not play football.
High School: Graduated from Columbia[apos]s Dreher High School in 2005 where he was coached on the gridiron by Bill Bacon… earned Defensive MVP honors his junior and senior years… two-time all-area selection… all-region honoree his senior year… led the team in tackles in each of his final two campaigns… included on the list of Who[apos]s Who Among High School Students… also competed for the baseball and track & field teams.
