Junior offensive lineman who has been plagued by injuries throughout his Carolina career… was healthy in the spring and hopes that continues and he can show new offensive line coach Eric Wolford why he was highly-touted coming out of high school… listed second on the depth chart at right guard, but could push for playing time if he can remain healthy.

2008: Spent much of the season while rehabbing after suffering a shoulder injury that required surgery.

2007: Penciled in to make his first collegiate start at Georgia but suffered a left ankle injury during practice the week of the game and was sidelined… did not see any game action.

2006: Redshirted… underwent shoulder surgery during the season.

High School: Graduated from Catholic High School in Clearwater, Fla., in 2006 where he was coached by Michael Jalazo… a four-star prospect according to Rivals.com… tabbed as the #20 offensive tackle in the nation by Rivals.com… rated as the #45 player in the state of Florida by Rivals.com… represented the state of Florida in the 2005 CaliFlorida Bowl along with fellow Gamecock Seaver Brown… Class 2B first-team All-State football honoree as selected by the Florida Sports Writers Association… was also a first-team all-Sun Coast honoree… led his team to the 2005 district and region titles… academic honor roll selection… also lettered in baseball.
