Kyle Nunn Bio

Fifth-year senior offensive lineman who is projected as the starting left tackle entering the fall… has worked to drop some weight in the offseason, which should help him with his quickness and in improving his pass protection… has made 16 career starts.

2010: Played in all 14 games, earning nine starts… started at left tackle in first two games vs. Southern Miss and Georgia… moved to right tackle for Furman game and remained there for Auburn contest… moved back to left tackle and regained starting spot vs. Florida after Jarriel King suffered a concussion vs. Arkansas… started each of the final five games at left tackle.

2009: Sophomore offensive lineman who competed with junior Jarriel King for playing time at the left tackle position all season… played in 10 of the 13 games… started seven of the final nine games at left tackle, missing only the Kentucky and Tennessee contests… saw his first playing time in week 4 against Ole Miss and moved into the starting lineup the next week against South Carolina State.

2008: Reserve offensive lineman… did not appear in the first four games, then saw duty in each of the final nine contests, primarily on special teams.

2007: Redshirted as a true freshman to spend time in the weight room.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Sumter (S.C.) High School in 2007… coached by Paul Sorrells… earned a spot on the Shrine Bowl team… nominated for state lineman of the year honors… graded out at 85 percent and had two knockdown blocks as a junior… was an all-area and all-region pick as both a junior and senior… also named all-state as a senior and was the South Carolina Coaches Association Big 16 Lineman of the Year… a three-year varsity starter who helped lead his team to the state playoffs each season… was a three-star prospect and ranked as the 62nd-best offensive tackle in the country by Rivals.com… regarded as the 18th-best player in the state of South Carolina by both Rivals.com and SuperPrep… a three-star prospect and the nation[apos]s 62nd-best offensive tackle according to Scout.com… also played basketball and competed in track & field… also had offers from North Carolina and Virginia Tech.
