Wide receiver who is looking to see more game action in 2009 after playing sparingly as a redshirt freshman in 2008… talented player who has shown a lot of potential… was showing signs of developing in the spring before suffering a hamstring injury… has played in seven games in his career.

2008: Reserve wide receiver… played in five games, catching two passes for 26 yards… both receptions came against UAB, including a 17-yarder.

2007: Took a redshirt season after being hampered by a knee injury that kept him sidelined for much of the fall… saw limited playing time in the season opener against Louisiana-Lafayette, then was used for one play on the ‘hands team’ in the win over Georgia… did not have any statistics.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played quarterback for the first part of his senior season at Barron Collier High in Naples, Fla…. coached by Bill Sparacio… caught 50 passes for 726 yards and six touchdowns as a junior… a four-star prospect and the nation[apos]s 43rd-best wide receiver by Scout.com… three-star prospect who is ranked as the 45th-best wide receiver in the country and the 55th-best player in the state of Florida by Rivals.com… rated as the 39th-best player in the state of Florida by SuperPrep… runs a 4.4 40 and has a 33-inch vertical leap… holds the school record in the 400 meters (48.3 seconds) and was the track team[apos]s MVP as a junior… also played basketball and baseball… his baseball squad was the 2005 5A-13 champs and ranked nationally.
