2014: Fifth-year senior who was the lone returning starter along the defensive line… named one of four permanent team captains… started every regular season game at defensive tackle… did not play in the bowl game after becoming ill just days prior to the contest… credited with 30 tackles including 4.5 tackles for loss… blocked a field goal at Vanderbilt… recorded career highs in tackles with seven and tackles for loss with 1.5 versus Missouri… selected to play in the College Gridiron Showcase all-star game in Arlington, Texas following the season… was a third-team preseason All-SEC selection by the league’s coaches and by Phil Steele… shared the Everyday Attitude award for the defense with Marcquis Roberts during the spring… made 26 career starts. 2013: Fourth-year junior defensive tackle who started all 13 games… registered 33 tackles with 4.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks… tied for the team high with six tackles, including five solo stops and a tackle for loss, against Kentucky… logged four tackles including three solo stops against Missouri… credited with an 11-yard sack and another quarterback hurry in the win over Mississippi State. 2012: Redshirt sophomore defensive tackle who played in each of the final 10 games… made one start… logged 14 tackles including 2.5 tackles for loss and a half sack… Had a tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry in the win over Missouri… made his first career start at Florida when the Gamecocks opened in a goal-line defense… his half sack came at Clemson. 2011: Reserve defensive tackle… credited with two tackles in three games… saw action against Kentucky, Arkansas and Florida. 2010: Redshirted during his true freshman campaign… injured his right shoulder during fall camp and underwent surgery… spent the remainder of the fall rehabbing the injury.
