Walk-on tight end who adds depth to the roster… began his college career as a quarterback at UNC Pembroke… joined the Gamecocks as a fullback in the fall of 2012… moved to tight end during that 2012 season.
2013: Worked with the scout team as a tight end.
2012: Walk-on fullback who joined the team in the fall of 2012… moved to tight end during the season.
2011: Sat out the season.
2010: Redshirted as a true freshman at UNC Pembroke… was listed as a quarterback on the roster.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Hilton Head Island High School for coach Tim Singelton, graduating in 2010… threw for 1,350 yards and 17 touchdowns in pacing Seahawks to a 6-5 record and a spot in the state playoffs… also punted 36 times for a 40.5 average en route to all-state accolades at that position… was also a standout on the golf team for the Seahawks.
PERSONAL: Jeff Homad is a nursing major at South Carolina.
