Former two-sport athlete who has given up basketball to focus on football… played in parts of three seasons on the hardwood for Frank Martin, which limited his participation in spring football drills… has appeared in 23 contests over the past two seasons, primarily on special teams… listed with the second team unit coming out of spring.
2018
Saw action in 11 contests, primarily on special teams… caught his first pass for one yard in the win over Chattanooga… joined the basketball team following the conclusion of the football season… averaged 1.3 points in 15 games, averaging just under 10 minutes per contest.
2017
Saw action in 12 games on special teams… also took snaps at tight end in the win over Wofford… was on the basketball squad after the football regular season ended until bowl camp commenced, then rejoined that team after the Outback Bowl… appeared in 23 games, making 17 starts, including 14 starts during SEC action, for the Carolina hoops team that finished 17-16… averaged 2.7 points and 1.3 rebounds per contest… logged a career-high eight points on three occasions, including wins over Georgia and Florida.
2016
Redshirted as a true freshman tight end… joined the basketball team in January and did not participate in spring football drills, as the cagers advanced to the Final Four… saw action in eight contests on the hardwood… scored nine points with five rebounds in limited action for a squad that advanced to the Final Four for the first time in school history.

Versatile two-sport standout from Deltona (Fla.)
