2018 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll 2017 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll 2016 Co-Defensive Scout Team Award Senior walk-on defensive tackle… appeared in seven game… credited with four tackles… began his career at The Citadel… graduated in December with a degree in sport & entertainment management. 2018: Appeared in six games as a backup defensive tackle… credited with four tackles, all coming in the Belk Bowl against Virginia… named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll. 2017: Junior walk-on defensive lineman who made his Gamecock debut in the win over Wofford… named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll. 2016: Transfer who was added to the Gamecocks’ roster just prior to the start of spring drills… listed as a defensive end…. . selected by the coaches as a co-winner of the Defensive Scout Team Award, along with Jujuan Blankenship. 2015: Enrolled at Carolina in the fall but did not participate in football. 2014: Was a member of The Citadel football team… worked along the offensive line… did not see any game action as a true freshman. HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Woodmont High School in Piedmont, S.C… lettered six times in track & field and four times in football… started 44 consecutive varsity games… was an all-region 1-4A defensive end in 2012 and ’13… named the Wildcats’ defensive MVP in 2011, ’12 and ’13… posted 65 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, four pass breakups, four hurries and two fumble recoveries during his senior season… named the top shot put thrower of the year in both 2011 and 2012.
