Tight end who played in 42 games including 19 starts… caught 39 passes for 377 yards and four touchdowns…also had regular duty on special teams… graduated in May 2018 with a degree in interdisciplinary studies.

2018: Fifth-year senior tight end who saw action in 12 games, making nine starts… shared the Comeback Player of the Year Award as selected by the coaching staff with Deebo Samuel and Bryson Allen-Williams… was limited for several games after suffering a broken finger late in the Vanderbilt contest… did not play at Kentucky due to the injury… caught 14 passes for 149 yards… had two catches in three contests: Georgia, Ole Miss and Florida… had three catches for 48 yards in the Belk Bowl vs. Virginia… shared the Joe Morrison Offensive Player of the Spring Award with Sadarius Hutcherson.

2017: Played in seven games, making one start… also a regular on special teams… returned three kickoffs vs. Kentucky for 13 yards… made his lone start of the season versus Arkansas and caught two passes for 11 yards… suffered a broken leg in that contest and missed the rest of the regular season… returned for spot duty in the Outback Bowl win versus Michigan.

2016: Redshirt sophomore who played in every game with nine starts… logged 23 catches, fourth on the squad, for 217 yards… tied for the team lead with four touchdown receptions… made his first career catch in the win at Vanderbilt, a six-yard completion that picked up a first down on Carolina’s lone touchdown drive… caught three balls at Mississippi State for 14 yards and his first career TD… started at tight end for the first time in his career in the East Carolina win… caught a career-high four passes for 31 yards against the Pirates… had a career day in a starting assignment against Texas A&M, catching four passes for 51 yards… caught a 16-yard scoring strike against UMass… caught one pass for a game-winning 35-yard touchdown versus Tennessee… caught one pass for a six-yard TD against Missouri, which was his third-straight week of catching a single pass that went for a score.

2015: Backup tight end and H-back who was used extensively on special teams… played in the final 10 games after not seeing action in the first two contests… returned a kickoff for six yards at LSU… garnered Outstanding Weight Room accolades for the offense at the 2015 spring game.

2014: Missed the bulk of the season after undergoing surgery on his right foot… made a brief appearance in the Kentucky game… petitioned for a medical redshirt… named to the 2014-15 First-Year SEC Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Bamberg (S.C.)-Ehrhardt High School in 2014… caught 43 passes for 571 yards and 12 TDs for the Red Raiders as a senior… team finished with a 7-6 record and a spot in the semifinals of the AA-II playoffs… coached by his father, Kevin Crosby… earned a spot on the statewide all-state team as selected by the High School Sports Report… selected to the all-region team by the Orangeburg Times and Democrat… played in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas and in the Under Armour All-America Game… Rivals rated him as the sixth-best player in the state and the 11th-best tight end in the country… Scout ranked him as the 19th-best tight end in the country… considered the ninth-best player in the state and the eighth-best tight end in the nation, according to 247Sports… ESPN listed him as the No. 143 overall, the fourth-best tight end in the nation and the third-best player in the state… ranked by PrepStar No. 116 on the Top 150 Dream Team.

PERSONAL: Kevin Devon Crosby Jr. was born May 23, 1996… is an interdisciplinary studies major who graduated in May of 2018… father, Kevin “Butch” Crosby was a very successful head coach at Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School before taking over at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High in 2018… uncle, Corey Crosby, is the head coach at Blackville-Hilda High School.
