2016 Co-Offensive Scout Team Award One of four junior running backs on the roster who will compete for snaps again this season… transfer from North Carolina who was eligible for the Gamecocks for the first time in 2017… has a good combo of size and speed. 2017: Redshirt sophomore who ranked second on the team with 95 carries and with 471 rushing yards… also caught 12 passes for 32 yards… had both a rushing and a receiving TD… made his Gamecock debut in the season-opening win over NC State… paced the team with 14 carries for 78 yards at Missouri… exploded for 95 yards on 13 carries plus two catches for 14 yards in his first start against Louisiana Tech… raced to a 35-yard score against the Bulldogs, giving Carolina a fourth-quarter lead… picked up a team-best 73 yards on 14 carries at Texas A&M… caught a three-yard scoring pass and added eight carries for 35 yards vs. Arkansas… rushed 11 times for 47 yards in the win at Tennessee… did not play against Florida… logged 58 yards on eight carries against Wofford… led the team with 53 rushing yards on 13 carries vs. Clemson… earned the start in the Outback Bowl. 2016: Took a redshirt season per NCAA transfer rules… impressed the coaches with his work ethic and ability despite not being eligible to play… shared the coaches’ Offensive Scout Team Award with Sadarius Hutcherson. 2015: Rushed 19 times for 57 yards and caught one pass as a true freshman at North Carolina… appeared in six games with highs of 10 carries for 31 yards in the win over Duke… logged four carries for 19 yards vs. NC A&T.
