2017 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll

Long snapper who held that position for each of the past two seasons… handled the snapping duties on punts and placements over the last 26 games… graduated with a degree in economics.

2018: Redshirt senior who serves as Carolina’s primary long snapper on both placements and punts… one of three players, along with Kiel Pollard and Keisean Nixon, selected by the players for the Unselfish Teammate Award for special teams… missed spring drills in 2018 after undergoing offseason knee surgery… earned a scholarship for his final year of eligibility… named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll for the second time in his career.

2017: Redshirt junior who served as the long snapper throughout the season, earning his first letter… named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.

2016: Served as a backup deep snapper… did not see any game action.

2015: Enrolled at South Carolina but did not participate in football.

2014: Played tight end at Berry College in Rome, Ga… appeared in three games as a true freshman…saw action versus Rhodes, Washington (Mo.) and at Birmingham Southern… the Vikings posted a 2-8 campaign.

HIGH SCHOOL:Graduated from Holy Innocents’ Episcopal in Atlanta in 2014… coached by Ryan Livezey… was a four-year letterwinner… named team captain as a senior… helped the Golden Bears to four playoff appearances and a playoff win as a senior.

PERSONAL: Benjamin Douglas Asbury was born June 6, 1995… is an economics major who graduated in May of 2018.
