True freshman walk-on long snapper who joined the squad in the summer… did not see any game action in his first year in the Garnet & Black as a reserve behind Hunter Rogers… redshirted.

Graduated from Philip Simmons High School in Charleston, S.C. in 2024… was granted a fifth year of eligibility by the SCHSL… was a deep snapper and also played linebacker for the Iron Horses…. coached by Eric Bendig… spent three years at Oceanside Collegiate Academy before transferring to Philip Simmons.

Gunnar Yocum was born June 7, 2005… is a sport and entertainment management major… diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor in Feb. 2021 and withdrew from school while undergoing treatment.
