CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Has 11 marks in the top 15 on South Carolina’s career pitching charts … Tied for third in appearances (142) and is fifth in starts (99) … Stands seventh in innings pitched (591.1) and eighth in wins (55) and strikeouts (400) … Also 10th in career complete games (43), 12th in strikeouts per seven innings (4.74), tied for 13th in shutouts (11) and 15th in winning percentage (.579) … Her 43 relief appearances stand fifth, while her seven saves are tied for fourth … She’s also fifth in the Southeastern Conference era with 116 assists as a pitcher. 2015 (REDSHIRT SENIOR): designated player and 19 in the circle … Led the Gamecocks in innings, ERA, wins, complete games and strikeouts, emerging as the staff ace during the middle of the year … Hit 12 batters, tied for seventh most in a year at South Carolina … At the plate, hit .263 with three homers and 28 RBI … Concentrated on pitching the final four weeks of the year … As a hitter, ranked as one of the best Gamecocks in clutch situations with her .611 batting average with runners on and two outs, .583 mark with runners in scoring position and two outs and .556 average with the bases loaded … Her first homer came against Michigan State (2/9) … Later that day, she tossed a complete game win over Stetson, striking out five … Her best day at the plate came versus Alabama State (3/2), where she went 3-for-5 with a homer, four runs scored and five RBI … Hit a two-run homer at USF (3/8) … Tallied a 2-for-3 day with a double and two RBI against Villanova (3/9), adding a save with 1.1 innings of work … Her five innings of shutout pitching against Appalachian State (4/3) started her run in the circle … Went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in the Georgia win (4/12) … Also scattered 10 hits and two earned runs in the complete-game win … Tossed another complete game with two runs against the Bulldogs on Sunday (4/14) in a losing effort … Picked up both wins at Auburn (4/19 & 4/21) with league’s Freshman of the Week award three times … Started 15 games in the circle and led the Gamecocks in complete games (6), innings pitched (103.2) and strikeouts (70) … Tossed a no-hitter in her debut, walking one and striking out five against Coastal Carolina (2/12) … Added a double and an RBI in a 2-for-3 day at the plate in her debut … Also posted a one-hitter, a two-hitter and a three-hitter in her other complete games, the first two joining with the no-hitter for her team-best three shutouts … Went the distance in two extra-inning games, going 1-1 in those contests (at No. 23 Auburn, vs. No. 20 Kentucky) … Tallied a 3.38 ERA with an 8-8 record, adding two saves … In five of her relief appearances, she did not allow a run … At the plate, she hit .250, posting four doubles, two homers and nine RBI in 64 at bats … Had a pinch-hit double in the win over Villanova (2/19) … Went 2-for-3 during her two-hitter against Florida Gulf Coast (2/19) … Notched her first career homer and got the win in the first meeting against Michigan State (2/20) … Posted a six-game hitting streak in the month of February … Helped her own cause in the win over Mississippi (3/12), hitting a two-run homer … Compiled a 2-for-3 day with a double, a run and an RBI while getting the win in the circle over Charleston Southern (4/5) … Drove in the game-winning run with an HIGH SCHOOL: Earned six letters in softball from coaches Kellie Ellis, David Reams and Jack Key at Gaffney High School … Twice honored by the South Carolina Coaches Association of Women’s Sports on their 4A all-state team … High School Sports Report (HSSR) named her to their all-state team five times … Made the all-region team all six years while making the all-area team four times … Three-time team MVP … Hit .416 during her career with 24 home runs, slugging .696 … Her senior season, hit .563 with a 1.197 slugging percentage … Launched nine home runs and 14 doubles … In the circle, posted a career 0.99 ERA, winning 98 games while striking out 1,182 batters … Tallied a 0.78 ERA as a senior, holding opponents to a .128 batting average … Went 26-4 as a junior, compiling a career-best 291 strikeouts … Twice named to the all-academic team … Claimed the SC High School League Scholar-Athlete Award … Earned the US Army Reserve National Scholar/Athlete Award … A member of the Beta club for eight years.
