Kaela Jackson Bio
After two years working as the top graduate assistant manager, Kaela Jackson moved into the volunteer assistant spot in the summer of 2014, where she will help the Gamecock coaching staff in all facets of the program.
Jackson played two years for head coach Beverly Smith at South Carolina, starting 26 games as the designated player for the Gamecocks during 2012 and earned Capital One Academic All-District 4 honors. Twice, she earned a spot on the SEC Academic Honor Roll.
A former standout at Chattanooga State, Jackson earned NJCAA All-America accolades with the Tigers, tying for fourth with 18 homers among NJCAA Division I student-athletes in 2010. Jackson helped CSCC to the 2010 NJCAA World Series.
Graduating with her B.S. in psychology in May 2012, Jackson completed her masters degree in exercise science in 2014 at South Carolina.
