- Started her collegiate career off with an event win in the 100 back during South Carolina’s season-opener at UNCW
- Competed in six different disciplines during her freshman campaign – 200 free, 500 free, 100 back, 200 back, 200 IM, and 400 IM
- Closer her first season as a Gamecock with a strong performance at the Cavalier Invitational where she placed 12th in the 100 back, 5th in the 200 back, 7th in the 200 IM and 4th in the 400 IM

- Swam for Winter Park High School for four years
- Earned an All-America and Scholastic All-America honors
- Finished third in the 100 backstroke at Florida High School State Championships
- Earned the Don Prokes award for being the teams highest point scorer at state championships
