2011-12 – One of the best on the team in the butterfly…Finished first in the 100 butterfly four times…Claimed first in the 100 fly against both Georgia Tech (49.56) and rival Clemson (49.70)…Swam fastest 100 fly time of the season to win against Tennessee (49.20)…Placed first in the 100 fly with a time of 49.54 against Duke/Queens…Recorded a personal best time of 46.77 in the preliminaries of the 100 freestyle at the SEC Championships.

2010-11 – Had team[apos]s second-best time in 100 butterfly (49.10) and third-best in 200 fly (1:52.93); both marks came at SEC Championships…Part of school record-setting 200 medley relay team, posting a 1:28.14 in a time trial at SEC Championships…Won 100 fly vs. Clemson…Swam butterfly leg on victorious 400 MR team vs. Kentucky/College of Charleston.

2009-10 – Was one of the team[apos]s butterfly specialists…Had second-best times on the team in 100 fly (49.04) and 200 fly (1:50.44)…Set personal records in both events…Competed at SEC Championships in both events, plus 50 free, 200 MR and 400 MR… Part of the Gamecocks[apos] top 200 MR and 400 MR teams…Won 100 fly in meet vs. UNC Wilmington.

2008-09 – Competed at SEC Championships in 100 free, 100 back and 100 fly…Set personal-bests in all three events at the meet…Had the third-fastest time on the team in the 100 butterfly (49.99)…Won five national titles in the 17-18 age group at the Puerto Rico national swimming championships in May…Set the Puerto Rican national 18-and-under record in the 50-meter butterfly.

PRE-COLLEGE – Graduated from Ridge View High School…Holds six school records in his respective events…Named Swimmer of the Year in 2006 and 2007…Was the high point winner for five straight years…Member of Carolina Aquatics…State Champion in 100 backstroke…Qualified for Junior Nationals…Qualifier for FINA World Youth Championships…Part of state record team in 400 and 800 medley relay…President of National Technical Honor Society and student body honor roll committee.
