- Finished sixth in the 200 freestyle (1:35.14) at the SEC Championships, also placed 11th in the 500 freestyle (4:17.72) and 12th in the 1650 freestyle (15:13.34)
- Tallied 11 individual wins, seven of which came in the 500 freestyle
- Never placed lower than second in the 500 freestyle during the regular season
- Won the 500 freestyle (4:20.82) and 200 freestyle (1:36.88) at the Virginia Tech Invitational, also finished seventh in the 100 freestyle (45.28)

2014 (SOPHOMORE)
- Led the Gamecocks in the middle distance events and earned his first trip as an individual to the NCAA Championships
- Earned All-America honors in the 800 freestyle relay as the team finished 12th (6:21.98) at the NCAA Championships
- Finished 22nd in the in the 500 freestyle at NCAA’s with a time of 4:18.25 … Also placed 35th in the 200 free (1:36.41) and 42nd in the 100 free (45.11)
- Finished fifth in the 500 freestyle at the SEC Championships with a new PR of 4:17.41 … The time was the 24th fastest in the nation prior to NCAAs
- Qualified for the finals after finishing the prelims in seventh at 4:18.60
- Also scored points at the conference meet in the 200 freestyle at the SEC Championships with a new PR of 1:35.71
- Swam on Carolina’s 400 and 800 freestyle and 400 medley relay teams at the SEC Championships which broke the previous school records
- Posted nine individual wins on the year in three different events

2013 (FRESHMAN)
- One of the Gamecocks’ top freshmen
- Provided a spark to the distance group, winning one individual race and finishing runner-up on six occasions in the 500 freestyle, 1,000 freestyle and 1,650 freestyle
- Swam the third leg of the 800 freestyle relay at the NCAA Championships to help the Gamecocks finish 15th to earn All-America honors
- Ranked in the top five times on the team in the 200 freestyle (third, 1:37.69), 500 freestyle (second, 4:20.71), 1,000 freestyle (first, 9:21.21) and 1,650 freestyle (first, 15:19.58)
- Made the finals in three events at the SEC Championships
- Finished 12th in the 500 freestyle with B cut of 4:20.71, which is the third fastest time in school history…Placed 16th in the 1,650 freestyle with a B cut of 15:19.58, the third fastest all-time at South Carolina
- Also scored points in the 200 freestyle with a 21st-place finish in 1:37.70
- Swam the third leg of the 800 freestyle relay to help set a school record time of 6:23.99 at the SEC Championships
- Was a part of one winning relay, the 800 freestyle relay at the SEC Championships
- Earned SEC Freshman of the Week after recording four top-five finishes in a 160-140 win over Texas A&M
- Made the Egyptian National Team for the FINA World Championships with a sixth-place finish in the 400-meter freestyle at the Charlotte UltraSwim

- Swam for the Alexandria Sporting Club team, which was the second best club team in Egypt.
