Took part in six meets during her first indoor season with the Gamecocks, competing in the long jump and the 60m as well as one 4x400m relay appearance … Made her collegiate debut at the Gamecock Opener, jumping a personal best distance of 5.67m (18-7.25) to finish sixth … Also finished sixth in the long jump at the Carolina Challenge, jumping 5.45m (17-10.75) … Ran a personal best time of 7.72 in the 60m prelims and the finals at the SC Garnet Invite, finishing runner-up in the finals … Also competed at the SEC Indoor Championship in the long jump, jumping 5.42m (17-9.5).

Pisgah Christian School in Alpharetta, Ga. … Competed in long jump, triple jump, the 100m and 200m while in high school … Holds the school record in the 100m (12.16), triple jump (38-1) and the 4x100m relay (49.53) … In 2023, she was runner-up in the GHSA State Meet in the 100m, long jump and 4x100m … During the 2022 season, she won the triple jump at the GHSA State Championship … Won the 2022 GHSA 6-A High Point Award, and was a triple jump Area champion … Was also the long jump runner-up in the GHSA Area 6-A meet … During the 2021 season, she was the GHSA State Meet 1A Private Triple Jump champion and a 100m medalist … Earned GHSA Area 6-A Triple Jump and 100m Area Championship honors … While with her club team (Major Impact Track Club), Childress finished third in the long jump at the 2023 USATF Georgia Association Junior Olympic Track & Field Championship … Finished seventh in the Adidas Outdoor Nationals in the long jump.
