Indoor: Only competed once for Carolina … Did not complete a legal mark in the long jump at the USC Indoor Open.
Outdoor: Competed in the long jump three times … Jumped a season-best mark of 6.77m/22-2.50 at the Charlotte Invitational for a runner-up finish … Took sixth at the USC Open with a jump of 6.75m/22-1.75 … Took third at the Tiger Track Classic with a mark of 6.73m/22-1.
2020
Indoor: Did not compete due to injury.
Outdoor: Cancelled.
2019
Indoor: Competed twice in the long jump after transferring to Carolina at the semester break… finished ninth at the Carolina Challenge and 15th at the SEC Championships, with a season-best mark of 7.04m (23-1 1/4).
Outdoor: Took part in six meets as a long jumper, including a pair of podium finishes… took second place at the Black & Gold Challenge with a mark of 7.19m (23-7 1/4) and third at the Buccaneer Invitational, jumping 6.86m (22-6 1/4)… jumped a season-best 7.30m (23-11 1/2) at the Gamecock Invitational… finished 13th at the SEC Championships, measuring in at 7.28m (23-10 3/4)… was part of the shuttle hurdle relay squad at Florida Relays, which finished third in 1:00.15.
PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Spent the 2018 season at Kennesaw State… Won the long jump at the Atlantic Sun Championships, jumping 7.67m (25-2) in the final… finished 12th at the NCAA East Regional, jumping 7.65m (25-1 1/4)to grab the 12th and final NCAA Outdoor Championships spot… finished second in the long jump and third in the triple jump at the ASUN Indoor Championships… added a triple jump win at the Winthrop Invitational… also competed in the short sprints and hurdles, with a fourth-place conference finish in the 100mH.
HIGH SCHOOL
Competed at Arabia Mountain High School in Lithonia, Ga… finished fourth in the long jump as a senior, when he won the event at seven different meets, including the regional and sectional championships… won the long jump at New Balance Nationals with a winning jump of 23-5 1/2… was an honor roll student.
