2009: Qualified for NCAA East Region and NCAA Outdoor Championships … SEC Outdoor silver medalist … Indoors, did not compete – ineligible as a transfer from Gardner-Webb … outdoors, opened the season with three straight victories at the Shamrock Invitational, Weems Baskin Invite and Pepsi Florida Relays … set a South Carolina school record with his jump of 17-10 1/2 (5.45m) at the Pepsi Florida Relay, a mark that ranked No. 2 in the nation at the time … took sixth at the Penn Relays … SEC Outdoor Championship runner-up with a jump of 17-5 3/4 (5.33m) … claimed seventh at the NCAA East Region meet … finished 19th overall at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a clearance of 16-8 3/4 (5.10m).
