Indoor: Ran the 800 at two events… finished second at the USC Open #2, running 2:05.84… ran a new personal best of 2:01.31 at the Camel City Invite.
Outdoors: Competed at the Shamrock Invite, running the 800 and on a 4x400m relay team… his time in the 800 was 1:57.54, making him the fourth-fastest Gamecock at that distance for the spring.

2015
Indoor Ran in both home meets… finished second in the 800 at the USC Open (2:03.99) and 11th in the 800 at the Gamecock Invite (2:13.22).
Outdoor: Ran the 400 at the Bill Carson Invite, taking 14th (50.84).

2014
Indoor: Ran the 800 meters at South Carolina home meets, capturing a win in his first collegiate race at the Gamecock Indoor #2 (2:07.97)…recorded his best time in a third place finish at the Gamecock Invitational (2:07.94).
Outdoor: Ran three times during the season…turned in a season-best 1:57.46 in the 800 meters at the Bill Carson Invitational to finish seventh…ran a 50.65 in his lone 400 meter appearance of the season at the USC Outdoor Open (11th).

HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered in track and field his junior and senior seasons…in 2012, was the 500m champion at the NCRunners Elite Holiday Invitational…in 2013, was the 400m champion at the Blue Ridge Classic and won the 800m at the Dick Williams Invitational…was the second runner up at the NCHSAA 4A State Championships in the 800m…holds school records at Providence Senior High in the 500m (outdoor), 800m (outdoor) and 3200m relay (indoor and outdoor)…was named most valuable sprinter and points leader for the outdoor season at Providence.

PERSONAL
Son of Shiping Yang and Xiaopeng Liu…has one sister, Jennifer Yang…was president of the Providence Senior High School model United Nations Club (2012-2013).
