2017 Second-Team All-American: 4x100m Relay
2017 SEC Academic Honor Roll

2017
Indoors: Competed in the 60m and 200m individually… ran a season-best 6.95 at the Armory Invitational, where he made the semifinals… finished 25th at the SEC Championships… also ran the 200m at two meets.
Outdoors: Competed primarily as part of the 4x100m relay, where he was a second-team All-American… was part of winning teams at the Gamecock Invitational and USC Open, part of three regular-season podiums… finished ninth in the 4×1 at the SEC Championships… placed eighth at the NCAA East Regional in a season-best 39.12 to make the NCAA Championships… that time of 39.12 was eighth-best in Carolina history… finished 15th at the NCAA Championships, clocking 39.40 to take home second-team All-America laurels… only competed once individually, running the 100m at the Weems Baskin Invitational.

2016
Indoors: Ran a time of 6.43 to finish sixth in the 55m dash at the USC Open #1… Also participated in the 60m and the 200m.
Outdoors: Ran both the 100m and 200m dashes… had his best 100m finish at the Spec Towns Invite, placing 2nd with a season-best run of 10.47… took eighth at the Spec Towns Invite in the 200m, running a season-best 21.28… qualified for the NCAA East Regional in the 100m, placing 38th… Was part of the 4x100m relay that finished first at the Spec Towns Invite and the 4x200m relay that was victorious at the Penn Relays.

2015
Indoors: Ran the 55, 60 and 200m events… ran his top 60 time of the season at the Bob Pollock Invite, crossing in 6.90 to finish fifth… ran a 22.04 to finish 12th in the prelims of the 200 at the Armory Invite… ran on the distance medley relay team that finished fourth at the Orange and Purple Classic.
Outdoors: Moved to the 400 in the Spring, running 51.65 at the Bill Carson Invite… ran his first outdoor 200 of the season at the SEC Championships, finishing 25th with a time of 22.18… focused more on relays, participating on the 4×2 and 4×4 teams.

2014
Redshirted the indoor and outdoor season.

HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered in track and field as well as football at Sandy Creek High School…200m Georgia high school state champion…two-time 100m champion and one-time 200m champion at the AAU Club National Championships…at the AAU Junior Championships, placed sixth in the 100m and third in the 200m…Georgia district champion twice in the 100m and once in the 200m…was ranked in the nation’s top-25 in both the 100m and the 200m in 2012…four-time All-American…has personal bests os10.57 in the 100m and 21.17 in the 200m

PERSONAL
Son of Sandra and James Lewis and Yolanda Green and DeVon Lewis…has three siblings, Brian, Yahtis and Ne Ne…also considered Virginia Tech, Clemson, Georgia and Purdue…decided to be a Gamecock because of the family aspect and closeness of the team as well as the chance to work with multiple world-class coaches.
