Did not compete indoors or outdoors.

2014

Indoors: Entered the high jump three times, recording a height at two events…posted a best of 4’9″ (1.45m) to take sixth at the Gamecock Invitational.

Outdoors: Recorded a height at three of four meets on the season… posted a season-best 4’11 ½” (1.51m) at the home Weems Baskin Invite to take third…finished fourth at the USC Outdoor Open, the other home meet of the season, clearing 4’11 ½” (1.50m) to finish fourth.

HIGH SCHOOL

Earned letters in volleyball and basketball in addition to track at Landrum High School in Spartanburg, S.C….was county champion (2008-09), region champion (2006-09) and upper state champion (2006-09) in the high jump…as a member of the 4x800m relay, was region, upper state and state champion from 2008-10…also was the 2009 800m South Carolina High School state champion.

PERSONAL

Daughter of John and Nancy Cann…parents were both student-athletes at Presbyterian, mom, Nancy, was a basketball player, father, John, played football…brother, Mark, played football and baseball at Marshall…was recruited by Boise State, Clemson, UNCG and Presbyterian to play volleyball and went to PC to play for two and a half years before coming to South Carolina…decided to come to South Carolina because of their top broadcast journalism program and the opportunity to run and jump for some of the best and most well-respected coaches in the nation.
