Indoors:
Made a national championship impact in her first season with the Gamecocks, leading Carolina to the NCAA title in the 4x400m relay… took the baton in last place, but passed student-athletes from Arkansas, Florida and Texas A&M on the final lap to lead the Gamecocks to the national title with a time of 3:30.76… also ran anchor on the 4x400m relay squad that finished second at the SEC Championships with a mark of 3:29.56, third-best in Carolina history… was an NCAA Championships qualifier in the 400m, finishing 11th at nationals with a mark of 53.22… clocked a season-best 52.86 at the Tiger Paw Invitational… won the 400m at the Dr. Sander Columbia Challenge… led the mile relay to regular-season wins at the Orange & Purple Elite, the Dr. Sander Challenge and the Carolina Challenge.
Outdoors: Joined the pantheon of Carolina greats as the school’s first 400m NCAA champion since 2007… ran 50.60 in the NCAA final, passing four competitors on the final turn to secure her 11th-career NCAA title and second at the Division I level… that mark of 50.60 ranks second in Carolina history and was the best performance by a Gamecock in the event since 2007… led the 4x400m relay to a third-place finish and first-team All-America laurels, as the squad ran 3:26.90 in the final, second-best in Carolina history… finished third in the 400m at the SEC Championships with a mark of 51.19… placed third at the NCAA East Regional, winning her quarterfinal heat with a time of 51.46… helped Carolina win Penn Relays Championship of America titles in the 4x200m and 4x400m relays… ran anchor as the Gamecocks won the 4×4 at Florida Relays with a time of 3:27.53, the best regular-season mark in the nation in 2019.

Previous School
Spent two years at UMass Boston, compiling two of the most impressive seasons in NCAA Division III history… Won nine individual NCAA Division III national championships, earning indoor 400m and outdoor 200m and 400m titles in 2017 along with indoor 60m, 200m, 400m and long jump titles and outdoor 200m and 400m titles in 2018… Scored enough points at the 2018 NCAA indoor meet to single-handedly win the team title for UMass Boston… Also helped UMass Boston win the 2018 outdoor team championship… Finished her two seasons as a 19-time USTFCCCA All-Region honoree, a 13-time All-American and a nine-time USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week… Holds the NCAA Division III record in the indoor 60m (7.40), 200m (23.90), and 400m (53.70), becoming the first and only Division III sprinter to record sub-24 and sub-54 times in the 200 and 400 respectively… Also holds the NCAA Division III record in the outdoor 100m (11.41), 200m (23.14), and 400m (52.81)… Is the first and only Division III sprinter to record a sub-53 time in the 400… Was featured in Sports Illustrated’s “Faces In the Crowd”… Competed at USATF Junior Nationals in 2017, finishing eighth in both the 200m and 400m.

High School
Graduated from Doherty Memorial High School in Worcester, Mass., in 2016… Was a three-sport athlete in high school, where she also participated in crew and basketball… Was a 2016 New Balance National Outdoor qualifier… Finished in second place at the All-State Championship meet in the 400m… Was the Division I West State Champion in the 400m.

Personal
Daughter of Mikerlange Jonathas… Has three brothers: Mardoche, Roderlin and Midrack, and three sisters: Jokerberde, Theresa and Michaela… Majoring in retail at Carolina, with the goal of one day being the CEO of a company… Chose South Carolina over Tennessee, Kentucky, LSU, Florida and many others… Picked Carolina because of the wisdom of the coaches, who see more than just an athlete when they are working with the team.
