Outdoor: Earned Second Team All-America honors for her 11^th-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles at the NCAA Championships in the national semifinal … Ran a time of 57.96 to finish 11^th at the NCAA Championships … Punched her ticket to Eugene with an auto bid in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 57.52 … Was third in the national prelims with a season-best time of 57.45 at the East Regional … Finished in 10^th at the SEC Championships in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.50 … Earned top-five finishes in the 400-meter hurdles at Weems Baskin, the Gamecock Invitational and the USC Open … Also was in the top 10 at the Florida Relays and the UNF Invitational … Ran sub-58 seconds three times, all of which were at the East Regional or NCAA Championships.

2020
Indoors: Made an impact in her first season with the Gamecocks as a 400m runner… Was a member of the Gameoccks second-best 4x400m relay time, helping clock a 3:34.13 at the USC Indoor Open… Set a new indoor PR record in the 400m at the SEC Championships, taking 23rd… Ran the 600m at the Orange and Purple Elite, taking 7th… Made her Carolina debut at the Clemson Opener, taking 4th in the 400m… Made her home debut at the Gamecock Opener, taking ninth.
Outdoors: Cancelled.

2019 (SOPHOMORE at California State University at Northridge)
OUTDOOR: Finished second in the 400m hurdles at the May 11 Big West Championships by running the third fastest time in school history, :57.76…would advance to the NCAA West Regional in the 400m hurdles where she would advances to the semifinals before bowing out with a :57.84 that was 14th quickest…helped CSUN win the 4x400m relay at the Big West Championships (3:40.53)…won the 400m hurdles at the Beach Intercollegiate Apr. 18 (:58.90)…a part of two 4x400m CSUN relays that won titles during the regular season (Mar. 9, San Diego Collegiate Challenge; Apr. 13, Triton Invitational).
 
INDOOR (at California State University at Northridge): Ran the 400m, 500m, and 600m during the indoor season…season best finish was a third in the 600m at the Jan. 26 New Mexico Invitational (1:31.47)…started the 400m at the MPSF Championships Feb. 22 but did not finish.
 
2018 (FRESHMAN at at California State University at Northridge)
OUTDOOR: Her time of :57.81 in the 400m hurdles when she won the Apr. 28 Desert Heat Classic became the 12th fastest in school history…the time is the third quickest in school history…did not compete at regionals due to injury that was suffered during the preliminaries of the 400m hurdles during the Big West Championships…won the Stanford Invitational 400m hurdles’ title Mar. 31 with a time of :58.15…a part of the CSUN 4x400m relay that took home top honors during the Mar. 24 Northridge Invitational.
 
INDOOR (at California State University at Northridge): Posted a season best 60m hurdles time during the preliminaries of the MPSF Championships…helped CSUN to a 13th-place finish in the 4x400m relay during the MPSF’s (3:49.06)…best time of 400m was :56.11 which was posted during a fifth-place finish at the Husky Classic Feb. 10.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Miami Northwestern Senior High School…named first team All-County on three occasions…won state championship in the 300 hurdles as a junior…team won four state championships from 2014-17…a member of the cheer, basketball, and cross country teams at Miami Northwestern…graduated with a 3.0 grade point average.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Lewis Young and Mona Veargis…has three sisters and one brother…a kinesiology major…favorites include the Green Bay Packers, Idris Elba, Tom Brady, and chicken…her hero is her grandfather who introduced her to track and field.
