Head Swimming Coach McGee Moody
“Today was a good day. Cole (Miller) dover like a champion again and earned All-America honors for the second day in a row. He put up very valuable points for our team. We had a great swim in the 800 freestyle relay led off by Marwan El Kamash. He went a lifetime best 1:34.70. We put together a great relay and finished 11th. We’ve almost doubled our points from last year through the two days. Tomorrow is arguable our best day so we are looking forward to that.”
Head Diving Coach Todd Sherritt
“Today was another great day. Cole (Miller) was in the top eight for a while but the last round knocked him out. He didn’t miss a dive all day. To finish 12th in the country is huge, this is one of the toughest meets to dive in. He has another event tomorrow, Jordan (Gotro) will dive tomorrow as well and I’m expecting good things from both of them. I’m so proud of what Cole’s done for this school throughout his career. Since he got here he’s learned how to be a great competitor.”
