2017-18 (SENIOR)

  • Earned All-America honors in the 1,650 freestyle becoming just the third swimmer in school history to be named All-American in the same event in four straight years
  • Was the SEC Champion in the 1,650 freestyle (14:37.01) for a third straight year becoming the first swimmer in school history to win three straight individual titles
  • First-Team All-American honoree in the 500 free with a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Championships (4:12.14)
  • Finished second in the 500 freestyle (4:11.47) at the SEC Championships
  • Won 10 total races on the season and finished with 21 total podium finishes
  • Named the University of South Carolina’s Male Athlete of the Year after ending his career with three school records and 10 total All-American performances

2016-17 (JUNIOR)

  • Earned All-America honors in three difference races as a junior
  • Finished third at the NCAA Championships in the 1650 freestyle (14:22.99)
  • Won the 1650 freestyle at the SEC Championships (14:38.91), becoming the first male to win an individual SEC title in consecutive years since 2000-01
  • Finished sixth in the 500 freestyle at NCAAs (4:10.83)
  • Finished eighth in the 500 freestyle at SECs (4:17.57) and finished 26th in the 200 freestyle (1:36.55)
  • Tallied 14 podium finishes throughout the regular season, including seven first-place finishes

2015-16 (SOPHOMORE)

  • Earned All-America honors in three different races as a sophomore
  • Finished second at the NCAA Championships in the 1650 freestyle (14:31.66), South Carolina’s highest ever NCAA male finish
  • Won the 1650 freestyle at the SEC Championships (14:35.49), becoming Carolina’s first male SEC champion since 2001
  • Finished fourth in the 500 freestyle (4:12.86) at the NCAA Championships after breaking a Gamecocks record (4:12.59) in prelims
  • Helped the Gamecocks finish 15th in the 800 freestyle relay (6:19.93), earning All-America laurels and setting a school record
  • Finished second at the SEC Championships in the 500 freestyle (4:13.48)
  • Tallied a 13th-place result in the 200 freestyle (1:36.26) at the SEC Championships
  • Won 14 events during the season, including a 1650 free win at the Georgia Tech Invitational and a 500 free win at the FGCU Invite
  • Posted 21 podium finishes for the season

2014-15 (FRESHMAN)

  • One of the Gamecocks’ top distance swimmers
  • Finished sixth overall in the 1650 freestyle at the 2015 NCAA Championships with a personal record of 14:46.50
  • Member of the Gamecocks’ All-American 800 freestyle relay team that finished 11th at the NCAA Championships
  • Placed fourth in the 500 freestyle at the SEC Championships, with a career-best time of 4:15.11
  • Finished fifth in the 1650 freestyle (14:51.27) and 24th in the 200 butterfly (1:47.11), setting a personal record of 1:46.43 in 200 butterfly the preliminary at the SEC Championships
  • Finished first and broke the school record in the 1650 freestyle for the first time since 1988 with a time of 14:58.72 against Queens and Wingate
  • Tallied 12 top-five finishes
  • Recorded his first collegiate win in the 1000 freestyle (9:13.50) against Duke and Harvard
