COLUMBIA, S.C. – Senior diver Courtney Forcucci from the Gamecock women’s swimming and diving team has been named the AgSouth Athlete of the Week.

Forcucci earned two All-America honors at the NCAA Championships to wrap up her stellar Gamecock career. The Fort Mill, S.C., native finished fifth on the three-meter springboard with a score of 368.50 and she placed 15th in the one-meter competition with a score of 288.65. Forcucci came up just 7.35 points shy of becoming the first Gamecock diver to earn three All-America honors at the same NCAA Championship with a 19th-place finish in the platform competition. On the week, Forcucci scored 16 of South Carolina’s 18 points to lead the Gamecocks to a 29th-place finish.
