2011-12 Gamecock Spotlight Video

2011-12 – One of the top divers in the country… Received first team All-SEC honors…Became the ninth South Carolina diver to earn two All-America honors…Finished fifth on the three-meter board at the NCAA Championships with a score of 368.50 and 15th on the one-meter board with a score of 288.65… Won gold on the three-meter springboard at the SEC Championships with a school and SEC record of 392.40…Also won bronze on the one-meter board at the SEC Championships with a score of 324.20…Placed 19th at the NCAA Championships in the platform competition with a score of 237.25…Set the 12-dive school record on the three-meter board at NCAA Zone Championships with a score of 670.75 to finish second…Won SEC Diver of the Week four times…Had 16 individual wins on the season, with eight coming on the one-meter board and eight on the three-meter board…Qualified for the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials on the three-meter springboard…Finished 16th overall in the semifinals with a 10-dive score of 513.00…Received CSCAA Scholar All-America honors…Named to the SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll.

2010-11 – One of the top divers in the SEC…Finished fourth in 1-meter diving at SEC Championships, scoring career-best 315.95…Earned ninth-place finish on platform at SECs with 229.25, her first attempt at the platform event since coming to South Carolina…Just missed finals in the 3-meter event, finishing 18th…Took 8th place in 3-meter event at NCAA Zone B with 12-dive score of 608.35; barely missed berth in NCAA Championships…Had the Gamecocks’ top score on the 3-meter board with a 367.80 vs. Clemson…Posted career-best 311.05 on 1-meter board vs. Alabama/Georgia…Named SEC Diver of the Week following sweep of 1- and 3-meter boards vs. Western Kentucky in season-opener (10/16) and again after another sweep against Alabama/Georgia (1/29)…Defeated defending ACC Champion Abby Johnston on 1-meter board with then-career high 308.93 vs. Duke…Won seven times during the season…Qualified for 2012 Olympic Trials by advancing to 3-meter finals at USA Diving Winter National Championships…Also won 1-meter preliminary round and advanced to semifinals.
