Columbia, SC –

As a part of Team Gamecocks, the football team will join volleyball, swimming and diving, men’s soccer and equestrian teams, in helping renew two Columbia area homes as a part of Homeworks on Saturday, April 26.

For more information call USC’s Jennifer Indest at 777-9913 or on her cell phone at (337) 344-1099. She will have directions to both houses, with the addresses being 3301 Rosewood Dr. and 737 Rosedale Arch. The work will begin at 8 am – rain or shine.

Most of the football players that will participate will be from the white team from the spring game because the garnet team will be doing a car wash for another charity.

Homeworks is a ministry that helps to renew homes by doing such things as painting, basic construction work and plumbing, caulking, house cleaning, and roofing. The projects take place as close as Aiken, Greenville, and Chapin, South Carolina and as far as Zorritos, Peru. The director of this operation is Hank Chardos. For more information, you can visit the website at homeworks-sc.org.
